Hello, please let me introduce myself and my centre.

I am Maria del Mar Garrido Jiménez. Over the last 6 years I have taught Spanish to foreign students. In March 1999 I set up my own company under the name Linguae Mundi. The main goal is to give foreign students the opportunity to learn the Spanish language in a friendly and nice environment.

Linguae Mundi is not so big and you can find a very familiar atmosphere. Our centre is situated in Jerez de la Frontera, a typical Spanish town, which is part of Andalucia. Jerez has a lot to offer (monuments, churches, theatre , wine cellars, museums, the Andalusian Flamenco Centre, the Andalusian Royal School of Equestrian Art, etc.).

Linguae Mundi is situated in a quiet area near the centre. For us it is very important that you feel at home, so we try to create a close and warm atmosphere by organising extra activities so that students get to know each other better.

The best way to learn and practice a language is undoubtedly by immersion in the country where it is spoken. Our centre is in the Barriada España, a quiet residential area 5 minutes from the city centre.

Our highly qualified teaching team with its ample experience, guarantees the learning of the language. Our courses are programmed to satisfy the needs of every student whatever age or level. The maximum number of students is eight, because we think it makes both teaching and leaning easier and offers the opportunity of making friends and a very close relationship. The method is focusing the communicative competence between the teachers and the students and both, the classes and the method, are structured to guarantee effective learning.
